Gullfoss (Golden Falls) is located in the canyon of the Hvítá river in the southwest of Iceland. We visited the spectacular site on a freezing cold day in January 2015.

I went to Iceland to celebrate a big birthday in January 2015. Sun Voyager is a sculpture in Reykjavik depicting a Viking longship. The pictures below were shot early morning and evening – it was mighty cold on both occasions! I hope they help you to beat the Monday morning blues!
