Sunday Photo – Cologne Railway Bridge Over The Rhine, Germany

The Hohenzollern Bridge was a road & rail bridge constructed between 1907 and 1911 and reconstructed after WWII when it became a rail bridge only as it is today.

Now over 1,200 trains a day cross it to and from the nearby central train station.

It is also a stone’s throw from Cologne’s magnificent cathedral and at this time of year its fabulous Christmas markets.
