Every Monday morning I and a few of my Twitter pals post a photograph featuring the colour blue aimed at diverting our attention from the start of week blues and making us think a little of exciting places to visit.
This week’s picture was taken in November 2018 from the top of Sugarloaf Mountain in Rio.
The Rio-Niterói Bridge is about 9 miles (14.5 km) long and connects the city of Rio de Janeiro with Niterói, located on the east side of Guanabara Bay.
You can also see the runways of the Santos Dumont Airport, Rio’s main regional airport.
You can see an aeroplane landing there by clicking SAFE LANDING.
