Earlier this month I started my new spin-off blog dedicated to my travels by train and anything else topical related to overseas train travel.

I have now posted over 20 articles with plenty of photos from thirty years of overseas train travel, a period that has seen me complete well over 200 journeys outside of the UK.

Going forward, if it is a train related post it will be on ontrack.blog rather than Wilbur’s Travels, so I would urge you to take a look at the new site and give it a separate follow, so that you get access to posts via email or in your reader.

I have just started a series of posts recounting my train tours in Eastern Europe. These are abridged versions of the fuller stories contained in my self-published book ‘On The Beaten Track’.

I also have a September train holiday planned with regular train travel companion Hamish, which will take in Albania, Kosovo, Skopje, Serbia & Romania. You will be able to follow this journey as it happens via on track.
