This is the first heavyweight knockout clash between Mbappe’s France & De Bruyne’s Belgium.
France
On my last visit to Paris we did a side trip by train to Chantilly, home to a current racecourse and an ancient hippodrome complete with stables and horse show.
There is also a fantastic chateaux, and of course eating a chantilly cream cake is a must!
Belgium
The first time I went to Bruges was in 1996 with my brother. It was during Euro 96 and we took in the England v Switzerland game on TV in Ostend. It finished 1-1.
