It wouldn’t be Christmas without a journey into London to see Fortnum & Mason and the West End decorations. I did this yesterday and as ever it did not disappoint.

First up was Fortnum & Mason which I visited in daylight and after dark. As ever the store facade has become a giant advent calendar.

The windows are a national institution. This year features a cat & mice.

Inside the store it is also lovely & festive, if a little chaotic.

The whole of Central London is beautiful at this time of year – Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland excepted.
