Budapest plays host to the crucial match between the finalists from Euro 2016

The Musée D’Orsay in Paris is my favourite art gallery in the world.

Housed in the marvellous from Paris to Orleans railway station on the Left Bank of La Seine, it is choc full of famous paintings by the likes of Monet, Degas, Van Gogh, Manet, Gaugin and Letrec.

Portugal

Guimaraes is a train ride from Porto and is a wonderful side trip.

The Dukes of Braganza Palace is the undoubted highlight and reminds me very much of Hogwarts of Harry Potter fame. JK Rowling actually started writing the series whilst living in Porto. An inspiration maybe?
