Royal Palace, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

I visited this wonderful palace in 2015 right at the start of the trip I made to Cambodia with Mrs Wilbur.

To say I fell in love with the formerly troubled country is an understatement. The people are wonderful, the Khmer sites amazing, the memorials to the Khmer Rouge atrocities harrowing.

So much did the country leave its mark on me that I decided to write a non-fiction thriller that is primarily set in Siem Reap and its outlying provinces.
