Today’s photo is the view of Cap Ferrat taken from the Moyenne (Middle) Corniche, one of the three famous corniches, the mountain roads that take you from Nice to Menton in the South of France.

The views all along are spectacular and the drive exhilarating.

It was the Grande Corniche (the highest and one with the steepest bends) where Grace Kelly tragically lost her life in a car crash in 1982.

The Fiat 500 I was driving in June 2014 coped admirably with it all, taking us on to the stunning town of Eze high up in the cliffs.
