This picture was taken in January 2003 in Tallinn – a trip we took to celebrate my birthday, which just so happens to be today!
We stayed for three nights – first day dull, second day sun & blue skies and third day snow.
This meant we retraced our steps twice and got three sets of photos all with different perspectives!

Happy birthday! I went to Tallinn for my birthday in November 2011, and loved the place. V pretty but also v quiet at that time of year. How was it in 2003 – I bet it felt quite exciting at that time?
We haven’t gotten to Estonia yet, but it looks beautiful.

I liked Tallinn, went there in 2009 to the Christmas market. Very, very cold but no snow. Happy Birthday!
