The Overnight Train Bangkok to Vientiane

Sunday Photo – The Bangkok to Laos Train, Vientiane Outskirts (Thanaleng)

We travelled by overnight train from Bangkok in February 2010. The train goes over the First Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge to the outskirts of Laos capital Vientiane at a place called Thanaleng. From there it is a 20km tuk tuk ride into the city. Magic memories!
