Monday Morning Blues – La Seine, Paris
Today I do not have the Monday morning blues because a) I am in Paris and b) it is our wedding anniversary. Paris always makes me happy, so here’s a shot I took yesterday.
Monday Morning Blues – The Lyabi-Khauz, Bukhara, Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan is a truly magical country to visit and Bukhara is certainly one of the jewels in the crown. The ancient Silk Road city is stuffed full of wonderful Islamic architecture. Lyabi-Khauz is right in the centre featuring wonderful madrasahs and caravanserai. The pool used to be a watering hole for thirsty camels.
