This Monday morning I am not feeling blue at all because I am at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for a couple of days.
Today’s photo commemorates Britain’s favourite children’s entertainer of the ’70s.
Oliver Postgate wrote, produced and narrated all time classic children’s programmes such as Ivor the Engine, Noggin the Nog, Pogle’s Wood, Bagpuss and best of all, the Clangers.
The Blue Plaque adorns the wall of his seaside house where he wrote the majority of his beloved works.
Below the plaque is a lovely mosaic depicting the Clangers.
I viewed the plaque with my travel buddy Hamish and commissioned a couple of t-shirts especially for the occasion.
