Monday Morning Blues – Painting of the Church at Auvers, Musée d’Orsay, Paris

The Church at Auvers is an oil painting created by artist Vincent Van Gogh in June 1890 which now hangs in the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. The actual church is in Place de l’Eglise, Auvers-sur-Oise, 27 kilometres north-west of Paris.

A visit to Paris would be a sure way to beat any Monday morning blues. D’Orsay is my favourite art gallery – I snapped this way back in 2003
