It’s that time of year again and as has become customary I have snapped this year’s windows at the iconic Piccadilly store.

This year there is a British wildlife theme with squirrels, foxes, badgers, owls, mice, (drunk) robins, magpies, rabbits & hedgehogs featured as you can see below.

F&M is a real festive favourite all round. Expensive yes but their Christmas puds, hampers, biscuits & mince pies are a luxury item that will find their way into many a household.

As ever the facade is transformed into a giant advent calendar.

My final tradition is to take a photo looking up the central spiral staircase.
