Eastern European Train Tours – A Free Globetrotters Travel Club Presentation

As you may know by now I am very partial to overseas train travel, most especially in Eastern Europe.

This Saturday at 1pm UK time I will be giving a light-hearted presentation on some of the tours that I have undertaken in the past as part of a free programme on Zoom presented by Globetrotters.

I will be sharing some photos and some amusing anecdotes along the way.

All you need to do to participate is to register at Eventbrite – click on the link below.

There will be two further speakers after me – this is the whole programme:

This is a special online meeting for May 2020 to replace the ones that should have happened around the world.

We have three speakers of around 40 minutes and break between them with breakout rooms where people can chat virtually.

The meeting is starting earlier than usual to allow members from around the world to join us.

The meeting will start at 13:00 BST with the following timings:

First Speaker: Will Linsdell – Eastern Europe Train Tours

A break of 20-30 minutes.

Second Speaker: Alicia Colson – Exploring the pictograph sites (rock art) of Northwestern Ontario in Central Canada.

A break of 20-30 minutes.

Third Speaker: Vineet Vijh – Lhasa to Kathmandu by Road

The meeting will take place in zoom, if there is a large demand we will also stream the meeting.

The meeting is free but if you can please make a donation to the Globetrotters Club charity this month which is Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) Coronavirus Crisis Appeal – https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/globetrottersclub
