Last night Mrs Wilbur and I went to a classical concert at the majestic Marble Hall at Mirabell Palace in Mozart’s home city of Salzburg.
From the moment we climbed the ornate staircase we knew that we were in for a treat.

Mirabell Palace, Salzburg, Austria
The ensemble including Greek violinist Dimitris Karakantas and oboe player Valerie Colen from the Netherlands, treated us to some wonderful compositions from Marcello, Vivaldi, Corelli and of course Wolfgang Amadeus.
The Marble Hall, constructed in 1606 under the auspices of prince-archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau, was the perfect setting for the Baroque masterpieces.
Oh how lucky that you were able to hear a classical concert. We missed to do this in Salzburg last year. – Amor
