Sunday Photos – The Black & White Photo Challenge

Fellow train travel author Matthew Woodward set me the Twitter challenge over the past week to post a black and white photo every day.

I decided to use photographs from my January visit to New York when the wintry conditions made for the perfect black and white atmospheric conditions. Add that to the iconic, photogenic opportunities afforded by the Big Apple and it made it an obvious choice for me.

There are actually 14 pictures shown below and one of them is not from New York at all. Can you spot which one?

  1. Amazing photos – love them!

  2. Tough Quiz question. Is it the Statue of Liberty which might be in New Jersey?

    1. It’s actually picture 7. Any idea where it is from?

      1. Moscow, Warsaw, Riga?

      2. Yes the middle one. Palace of culture & science (plus tourist information!). There is a similar place in Riga too.
