In November 2003 Mrs Wilbur and I ventured on to date our only ever safari. Our destination was the Akeru Lodge inside the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

We saw plenty of lions, elephants, rhino, giraffes, antelopes & apes, but amongst our favourite animal sightings were the horses in striped pyjamas.

We even took our own toy one with us for the trip!
