The island of Skyros is perhaps the least known of the Sporades Islands with Skiathos, Alonissos and Skopelos being more popular with holidaymakers.

Despite that, Skyros is a wonderful gem and well worth a visit if you want to experience an unspoiled, authentic Greece.
