It never ceases to amaze me that the Musee D’Orsay in Paris allow visitors to freely photograph exhibits.
The gallery is far and away my favourite in Paris, a city of course where competition is fierce.

Great memories! I loved seeing the Church at Auvers in real life with a poster of the original painting outside. I did a post about it a while ago as it was also used in a Doctor Who episode and I loved the fact that I was able to be there in the flesh! Sometimes it’s the little things in life that make us happy 🙂
Does the church still look the same? I suppose that VG used artistic licence though…..
Yes it’s a very true likeness. Just the colouring is a bit more artistic. It was a real thrill to go there.
