As I wait at Gatwick for my flight to Ljubljana, I recall my only other, very brief, visit to Slovenia (then Yugoslavia) in 1987. Needless to say I hope this trip goes more smoothly – I do have an hour delay, but hopefully that is the worst of my troubles! Wilbur.
