I was brought up only 30-minutes drive away from Lyme yet hadn’t visited the Jurassic Coast town for around 30-years.

The town has seen quite a change in that time with extensive renovations that include a lovely sea hugging promenade around the headland towards Charmouth.

There are also now a fair few foodie restaurants and boutique style hotels to go alongside the cosy pubs with their log burnt warmth.
