Warner Brothers have put on a fabulous photographic exhibition in Covent Garden.

It shows photographs from filming from the eight feature films, plus a scattering of props and video vignettes.

WB do Potter exhibitions really well as anybody who has done the studio tour will testify. You learn some things about the film locations and a few tricks used to help bring the marvellous books to the big screen.

Props include Arthur Weasley’s flying car, a Gringotts Bank ledger, the phone box entry to the Ministry of Magic, the fireplace at No.4 Privet Drive and various costumes worn by the wizarding cast.

There is inevitably the opportunity to sit on a broomstick for a photo. You are not allowed to take your own photo though and the official one will set you back a minimum of £15. My sister did take a surreptitious one of me however. p!

At £20 for a timed visit it is very good value – parents be warned however, there is a very pricy cafe & shop. Well presented of course.
All in all a very pleasing hour well spent. Details can be found by clicking POTTER.
